I'm kind of fascinated with how drawings/painting/art in general progress on paper. Your initial drawing grows and connects to bits you drew earlier, you leave it & come back and add new shapes you wouldn't have thought to add earlier, be inspired by someone else's work and start using a color combination you never thought of. My favorite color combination is turquoise and orange red from one of my favorite paintings Philip Guston's "Ocean". 5x7 with gouache, watercolor and india ink
Beautiful! Looks a bit like a 70s Sci Fi illustration (I see a spaceship, a computer-monitor, a multi-legged monster,…).
